Where innovation and strategic decision-making reign supreme, a new paradigm has emerged that promises to reshape the very foundation of how products are envisioned, developed, and brought to market.

In this episode, we are with Misha Kaplun, the co-founder of Chassis – a game-changer for product managers. Throughout my career, alignment and decision-making challenges have been constant. But then, I met Misha. His consulting and product management background led him to create Chassis, a tool that transformed how I approach decision-making and prioritization.

Misha shares insights from a Pendo AI study – a whopping 80% of tech features go unused. We discuss Amazon's principle of "Leaders are right," highlighting the importance of data-driven decisions. Misha breaks down decision-making approaches – customized frameworks, established ones, top-down choices, and intuition-based calls. But Misha's solution is a customized, documented framework for consistent choices.

We explore Chassis' survey-based approach, uncovering hidden misalignments within teams. The conversation turns to designing Chassis' decision-making framework. From time-to-value to strategic fit, the framework encompasses crucial aspects, ensuring data-driven, consistent decisions that are transparent to the rest of the company. Chassis' vision is to democratize decision-making, aligning teams and achieving superior outcomes.

As we wrap up, Misha opens up about the challenges of pioneering a tool for alignment. So, if you're ready to revolutionize your decision-making and prioritization processes, check out Chassis’s survey here and embark on a journey of better alignment and outcomes.
